Meet Amanda
As a classroom teacher, I was supported by compassionate, authentic and meaningful leaders who wanted to help me build my capacity to transform the progress of my students. When I became a school leader, I wanted to do the same - help others feel valued, heard and seen to impact learning and engagement. Now, as an Instructional Literacy Coach, I draw upon my extensive literacy experience to support classroom teachers and leaders across Australia – it’s a privilege I don’t take lightly.

I work with upper primary and lower secondary classroom teachers, literacy leaders and school leadership teams to build teacher capacity to teach with clarity, confidence, and consistency. With strengthened literacy practice, teachers feel empowered to make a greater impact on learning and engagement and improve literacy results. I deliver Instructional Literacy Coaching, through 'The Instructional Literacy Coaching Experience', opportunities for Professional Learning, and I also offer consulting services.
